Manila — Collaboration and unity are the keys to maintaining the unity of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao as pillars of national stability and progress, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Director General Datu Suharto "Teng" Mangudadatu issued his official statement amid the clamor for the separation of Mindanao.

"Our nation's unity is not just symbolic; it is the bedrock of our advancement and well-being. While an independent Mindanao could thrive with its abundant resources and capable governance, it is highly important that we cherish and preserve our collective heritage as one united Filipino nation," Mangudadatu said.

Mangudadatu emphasized that Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao have long been working together in various sectors of the Philippines, such as agriculture, education, health, and trade, just like the ongoing programs of TESDA aimed at providing skills and opportunities for national development.

The official added that TESDA's efforts are focused on empowering Filipinos to make meaningful contributions to the country's workforce and economy.

While a self-sufficient Mindanao has the potential to thrive through its abundant resources, Mangudadatu emphasizes the importance of valuing and preserving the collective heritage as one strong Filipino nation.

"Let us approach this matter with practically and forward-thinking, understanding that our strength lies in coming together, not being divided. The solution does not lie in fragmentation. Instead, let us promote cooperation, comprehension, and sustainable progress for a united nation under a single guiding faith," he said.

According to Mangudadatu, the solution does not lie in separation. He advocates promoting understanding, cooperation, and orderly development for a united Philippines.
