President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has signed Executive Order No. 64, granting a salary increase to employees serving in the Executive, Legislative, Judicial Branches, Constitutional Commissions, and other Constitutional Offices.
The order, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, will take effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette or newspapers with nationwide circulation.
The salary increase will also cover Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) employees.
Local government employees are likewise included in the wage hike.
This development marks a positive stride towards bolstering the compensation of government workers nationwide.
