Marawi City, Lanao del Sur -Approximately one (1) kilogram of suspected shabu with an estimated value of 6.8 million pesos was confiscated by elements of PNP PRO BAR in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabingan, Marawi City, at 9:30 in the morning, Wednesday.
The suspected shabu recovered was placed in a plastic bag.
Three (3) suspects allegedly involved in drug trafficking were apprehended during the operation.
Aside from the seized suspected shabu, authorities also recovered during the operation personal items such as a driver’s license, BIR ID, cell phones, and a bag.
The operating team promptly brought the arrested individuals and the confiscated evidence to the PNP Lanao del Sur for proper documentation, disposition, and legal procedures.
PNP PRO BAR Acting Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Prexy Tanggawohn, commended the successful operation executed by his team.
The operation was carried out through the collaborative efforts of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)- Lanao Del Sur, CDEU/MCPS, PSOG/PDEU, 500 CEB, TF Marawi, and 3rd SRB/Intel Operative. | Teddy Borja
