Marawi City, Lanao del Sur -PNP Police Regional Office BARMM has captured alias "Carim" in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cadayonan II, Marawi City, on Friday, April 15.
However, alias "Carim's "two companions escaped after their transaction with an undercover police officer.
During the operation, authorities confiscated two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. The seized substances weighed 62.71 grams with an estimated value of 426,428.00.
The arrested suspect and the recovered evidence are now in the custody of the Marawi City Police Station for proper disposition.
"Carim" is set to face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The successful operation was carried out through the collaborative efforts of Marawi CPS/CDEU, PDEU/PSOG, 1st Lanao del Sur PMFC, and 1403 RMFC, RMFB14.
