PHILINDO STRIKE IV-2024: Philippine Army and Indonesian Army Joint Training

Maguindanao del Norte —The 6th Infantry “Kampilan” Division will be this year’s host for the PHILINDO STRIKE IV-2024, an annual joint training between the Philippine Army and the Indonesian Army (TNI AD).



Major General Alex Rillera, Commander of the 6th ID and Joint Task Force Central, stated that the training aims to boost cooperation and capabilities in Territorial Defense Operations between the two countries through brigade-level mission planning and table-top exercises.



The Indonesian Army team arrived in Maguindanao del Norte and conducted a site survey to prepare for the upcoming training.



Colonel Infantry Yoki Malinton Kurniafari, Commander of the 11th Infantry Brigade/Badik Sakti, Indonesia, led the site survey team.



The military officials from both countries also convened for a three-day Planning Conference to discuss the training details.



The 6th Infantry “Kampilan” Division is fully engaged in preparations to ensure the success of the joint exercises.
