Government Services Reach Hundreds of Residents in Tawi-Tawi at the "Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair"

Tawi-Tawi —Hundreds of residents in Tawi-Tawi were recipients of various services offered during the "Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair." The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) and the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office IX joined forces to provide assistance to individuals at the event held at the DepEd Cultural and Sports Complex in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.



Among the services provided by the agencies was the Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa mga Apektadong Manggagawa (TUPAD) program of the DOLE, wherein 947 beneficiaries received 5,040 pesos each.



MOLE also allocated livelihood assistance to two associations that are beneficiaries of the Bangsamoro Rural Employment through Entrepreneurial Development (BREED) program. Each association received financial aid amounting to P50,000.00.



Other services included the acceptance of job applications for the Special Program for Employment of Students, Registration of Workers Association, Registration of Establishment by MOLE, and sessions on Career Development Support and Employment Coaching by DOLE.



MOLE also distributed 300 sacks of 10 kilograms of rice and 300 hygiene kits containing soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, talcum powder, and laundry soap.


Project TABaNG also supported the BPSF.


Project Tabang is one of the flagship programs of the office of BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, which consists of various regional agencies.
