Maguindanao del Norte —The Regional Trial Court Branch 13 issued an order for the arrest of former Maguindanao Board Member Asnawi “Jojo” Limbona and three (3) others in connection to a murder case.
Under Criminal Case No. 2024-15040, the arrest warrant was signed by Acting Presiding Judge Annabelle Piang and dated May 6, 2024.
Police LtCol Sahibon Mamantal of the Datu Odin Sinsuat Municipal Police confirmed they received a copy of the warrant on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
However, the Datu Odin Municipal Police Chief expressed dismay as the warrant circulated on social media before official channels.
According to Mamantal, the arrest order is related to a shooting incident in Rosales Rosary Heights 6, Cotabato City, in January this year.
