Cotabato City — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA BARMM) captured alias “Noria,” 49 years old, and a certain Ricky, 39 years old, in a drug-bust operation in Rosary Heights 2, Cotabato City, Tuesday, February 27.
Authorities seized during the operation two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 100 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as Shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱680,000.00.
The operating team also confiscated the buy-bust money, mobile phones, identification cards, and bags.
The suspects are currently detained at the PDEA BARMM Jail Facility, awaiting an inquest proceeding for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
PDEA BARMM carried out the successful operation in collaboration with the elements of the Public Safety Office Cotabato City and Police Station 1 of Cotabato City Police.
